SMU is a very unique school, it has everything from a gorgeous campus, to great Greek life, and the city of Dallas is fun and sophisticated with great food and great shopping. I love going to visit my son because Dallas has everything and we always have so much fun!

Ideal location to stay when moving your kids into school. Makes everything so much easier. They have an outdoor pool, fitness center, restaurant and other amenities, plus it’s pet friendly!

10 minute drive to campus

A luxury hotel with fitness center, outdoor pool with a welcoming roof deck and spa, plus a speak easy! Walking distance to the Dallas Museum of Art and the historic JFK Memorial. Pet friendly.
MANSION ON TURTLE CREEK
20 minute drive to campus

Gorgeous luxury hotel with swimming pool & fitness studio. The Mansion Bar is our favorite and they even have afternoon tea!
This is likely the most expensive option but definitely worth it!

Snider Plaza - Known as the town square, this three-block shopping area has cute boutiques and restaurants.

Hyena’s Comedy Nightclub - Great after a day of exploring.

Meadows Museum - Has one of the largest collections of Spanish art in the world. It is free to the public on Thursdays after 5pm.

Boulevarding - It is like a fancy tailgate before football games - it’s an SMU thing you definitely want to do.
