My name is Emma Kantor and I am soon graduating Staples High School in Westport CT with the class of 2025. Next year, I will be attending Lehigh University in Bethlehem Pennsylvania to be part of the class of 2029.
Lehigh University is located in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. It is about a 1.5 hour drive from Philadelphia.
In addition to the rigorous academics and beautiful campus, Lehigh University is located in the historic and charming city of Bethlehem. Lehigh offers Division 1 sports, study abroad programs, interdisciplinary studies, and incredible research opportunities. It is famous for the annual Lehigh vs. Lafayette spirit week which ends with a football game between the rival schools. The school holds a lot of spirit and has a work-hard play-hard mentality.
If you want to make a luxurious vacation out of your trip, The Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia offers an unmatched experience. Located in the heart of Center City and approximately one and a half hours from Lehigh’s campus, it provides easy access to Philadelphia's best attractions. If you want to stay closer to campus and get a feel for the city of Bethlehem, Hotel B is a great choice. It is located right on Main Street which is walking distance from the stores and restaurants located in the Historic Bethlehem area, and a 5 minute drive from Lehigh’s campus. Hotel B houses a restaurant called the Tap Room that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hotel B also has an ice cream parlor located on Main Street. Hotel B is so special because of its classic charm and rich history. It is an incredibly unique hotel experience.

If you want a comfortable and casual stay, you should definitely check out the Hyatt Place Bethlehem. It is located 8 minutes away from Lehigh’s campus, and right off of Main Street. - The Outlets at Wind Creek are located about 5 minutes away from campus. These outlets have stores like Coach, Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors for great prices
Tapas on Main is a great restaurant located off of Main Street. It is authentic Spanish Tapas. It's best for dinner and drinks. Overall great vibe and service.
